The Rete Integrata Nazionale GNSS (RING) network consists of more than 250 continuous high-quality geodetic real-time transmitting stations, deployed all over Italy. This network was developed with the aim of studying the strain accumulation on the active seismogenic faults located along with the Eurasia-Africa plate boundary and to capture the co-seismic and post-seismic deformation in case of strong (Mw>5.5) events in Italy. The RING data and metadata are stored in a database and are freely available since 01-01-2001 to present. The RING instrumentation is currently undergoing to significant upgrade towards advanced full-GNSS receivers and antennas.
