BAR-Seq to study history-dependent behavior

Sequencing of the barcodes of pooled yeast deletion collection in carbon source shifts to identify the genes affecting history dependent behavior. The yeast deletion was pooled together and pregrown in maltose. They were washed and grown in glucose for different durations. They were washed back to maltose again. Samples were taken regularly and the barcodes were amplified and sequenced. on Illumina. Each deletion has two barcodes (Up and Down) around the deleted gene.
