Mediterranean Sea Surface Temperature Analysis
收藏资源简介:
Optimally interpolated sea surface temperature (SST) analysis over the Mediterranean Sea (2017/01/01 to 2017/12/30). The analysis were computed with an optimal interpolation (OI) algorithm, using as inputs synthetic SST observations derived from model SST data. A complete description of both the OI algoritmh and the synthetic SSTs generation is provided in Sabatini et al. (submitted) and Buongiorno Nardelli et al. 2013. The main directory contains 6 sub-folders: 1 - SSTeas4. Daily SST data extracted from the Copernicus Mediterranean Sea Physical Analysis and Forecast model (see Clementi et al. 2019); 2 - L3S_SST_IR. Daily, synthetic SST data generated to simulate the Copernicus Mediterranean High Resolution L3S Sea Surface Temperature product (https://doi.org/10.48670/moi-00171); 3 - L3C_SST_CIMR. Daily, synthetic SST data generated to simulate SST observations from the Copernicus Imaging Microwave Radiometer (CIMR); 4 - L3S_SST_MERGED. Daily SST data obtained combining the IR and CIMR SST data described above. 5 - L4_SST_IR. Daily SST analysis computed with an OI algorithm using the L3S_SST_IR data as input. 6 - L4_SST_MERGED. Daily SST analysis computed with an OI algorithm using the L3S_SST_MERGED data as input.
