CERP Picayune Strand - Picayune Strand State Forest Breeding and Migrating Bird Population Count

This study provides an inventory of breeding and migrating landbird populations within the Picayune Strand State Forest. The monitoring dataset is associated with the USGS Bird Point Count Database (Database). The Database provides a public, searchable repository for point count data collected anywhere in North America. It also serves as a place for collaboration, a tool for managing surveys, and is the official site for National Wildlife Refuge point counts. The Database is housed at USGS Patuxent Wildlife Research Center, and was built in cooperation with the American Bird Conservancy and the USFWS National Wildlife Refuge system. http://www.pwrc.usgs.gov/Point/
