TxDOT Base Thickness

The thickness of the base pavement. For rigid pavements the base is all layers between subgrade and bottom of concrete surface. For flexible pavements the base is all layers between subgrade and bottom of asphalt concrete layer. If there are several types of base, the total thickness of all base layers is reported. This data is updated by GRID users. Base thicknesses are located geographically along roadways using linear referencing.
