Time limitation for occupation of indigenous land in Brazil

The Constitution of the Federative Republic of Brazil of 1988 dedicates its own chapter to treat indigenous peoples, where it can be observed, from art. 231, norms that recognize and protect the category in social organization, customs, norms, beliefs, norms that deal and originate with the occupation, being up to the Union, they are provided in the disciplines of the Magna Law, on demarcation, protection and respect the goods that are typical of the original peoples highlighted.1988年《巴西联邦共和国宪法》专设一章专门论述原住民（indigenous peoples）群体，自第231条起即可见相关规范：此类规范既承认并保护该群体的社会组织、习俗与信仰体系，也涵盖与原住民传统领地占有相关的规制内容；上述内容均作为该国根本大法（Magna Law）的组成部分，明确由联邦政府负责原住民领地的划界、保护工作，并需尊重前述原住民所特有的各类财产权益。
