Field data collected under the GBR Foundation CCIP Project D-04: The COTS Surveillance System (CSS): end-to-end technology for detection of reef pests using the ReefScan-Deep towed imaging platform. Data consists of geo-referenced images from a towed imaging platform from around the perimeter of sets of reefs along the GBR looking for images of COTS and Scars.Most images were collected by AIMS staff going on COT Control trips with the Control Teams for a range of field trips. Images are used to train ML models of COTS, Scars and Benthic life forms.
本数据集为大堡礁基金会(GBR Foundation)CCIP项目D-04的实地采集数据,对应项目为商用现货监测系统(COTS Surveillance System, CSS):依托ReefScan-Deep拖曳成像平台开展珊瑚礁害虫端到端检测的技术方案。 数据集包含拖曳成像平台采集的地理参考影像,采集区域覆盖大堡礁(Great Barrier Reef, GBR)沿线多组珊瑚礁的周边海域,旨在采集棘冠海星(COTS)及其啃食痕迹(Scars)的相关影像。 绝大多数影像由澳大利亚海洋科学研究所(Australian Institute of Marine Science, AIMS)的工作人员,随防控团队参与多场棘冠海星防控实地考察作业时采集所得。 这些影像被用于训练针对棘冠海星、啃食痕迹及底栖生物的机器学习(Machine Learning, ML)模型。
