Affective assessment instrument. The adapted Emoti-SAM consists of 5 emoticons, representing the pleasure dimension of affective response. The dimension varies in a 5-point scale, from the most positive to the most negative. The most positive option is a happy face with the thumb up and the most negative is a face of disappointment. Also, the instrument has a blank space so that the children could freely express their feelings through drawings.
