Faunal data from Sand Canyon Pueblo, excavated by Crow Canyon Archaeological Center 1989 through 1993. Faunal analysis was by Robert J. Muir and Jonathan C. Driver in 1999, using methodology described in the CCAC Manual for the Description of Vertebrate Remains. Context information was integrated by Karen G. Schollmeyer in 2011 using data supplied by CCAC. Kyle Bocinsky refactored the bone modification data in 2018. Fauna is from AD 1240 to 1280. Users should reference both this dataset and Muir's 1999 dissertation (available on tDAR), which has additional information on the faunal assemblage.
