Collaborative Solutions Dataset: Social-Ecological Systems and Sodium Pollution in the Occoquan Watershed

How can collaborative, stakeholder-driven approaches address the emerging challenge of freshwater salinization? This data resource supports the paper “Collaborative Solutions to Inland Freshwater Salinization” by providing data and materials used to apply Elinor Ostrom’s Social-Ecological Systems (SES) framework to rising sodium concentrations in the Occoquan Reservoir, a drinking water source for over one million people in Northern Virginia.
