Response to TGF-Beta in CCD-18Co

We obtained the gene expression signature from TGF-beta-treated fibroblasts and quantified the association of TGF-beta-activated fibroblasts with disease progression in colorectal cancer. CCD-18Co cells were treated with recombinant human TGF-β1 (5ng/mL) for 8 hours in DMEM supplemented with 0.2% FBS. Gene expression profiles from treated and control cells were measured in duplicate using Affymetrix HT_HG-U133_Plus_PM human gene expression arrays.
