Onboard oil transportation map in the Arctic Ocean from 2019 to 2021

Onboard transported oil amount along ship tracks was mapped in 1120x760 grid covering the Arctic Ocean. The spatial resolution is approximately 10km.The map shows the total amount of oil calculated at the AIS ship position multiplied by the oil capacity of the ship. Oil capacity is a summation of tank sizes for fuel oil and cargo oil derived from a ship database. The map indicates the more or less of the monthly distribution of potential oil mass in each cell by the color.针对覆盖北冰洋的1120×760网格，完成了船舶航线上在船载运油量的制图工作，该网格的空间分辨率约为10千米。 本图展示了以船舶自动识别系统（Automatic Identification System, AIS）采集的船舶位置为基准计算得到的总油量，其计算逻辑为对应位置的油量乘以船舶总载油能力。 船舶总载油能力为船舶数据库中燃油舱与货油舱的总容积之和。 本图通过色彩分级，直观呈现了各网格单元内潜在油量的月度分布差异。
