资源简介:
Uranouchi Inlet, situated on the Pacific coast of southwestern Japan, is a highly enclosed inlet known for yellowtail farming since the 1959. Since the 1980s, harmful algal blooms (HABs) have repeatedly occurred and resulting in mass mortality of fish and shellfish. Many HABs species form resting cysts and accumulate in the sediment, potentially preserving the history of HABs events. However, the vertical distribution of HABs species cysts in the sediment remains poorly understood. To address this gap, core sediment samples were collected and MiSeq sequencing analysis was performed (2 x 250 bp, MiSeq Reagent Nano Kit v2), targeting to 18S rDNA V8-V9 region (universal primers: V8f and 1510R, products size : approximately 400 bp). The dating of each sample was cited from Takahashi et al., 2021.
