Archiving the Capitol Hill Organized Protest
收藏资源简介:
This interactive map experience provides a digital record and public commons exploring the geography of the Capitol Hill Organized Protest (CHOP) in Seattle which took place in June 2020. The map allows users to visualize a high resolution aerial map of the CHOP; read and explore the messages and street art made throughout the CHOP; provide memories or commentary on different locations within the CHOP, using the map; and access the map’s open data. While the physical space that was created by the CHOP has long since reopened and been restored to its original form, we hope that this digital geographical archive offers a way to continue engaging with this social movement, and can serve as a public map of record for the unique community that CHOP created.
