Dataset Overview: The holographic staring radar system conducts continuous staring detection on sea surfaces and targets, forming an S-band multi-channel dual-high (high Doppler resolution + high range resolution) dataset. It contains three typical types of collected radar echo data (unmanned aerial vehicle, motorboat, sea clutter) and ground truth data (TR), covering sea-air low-observable targets and sea-surface low-observable targets within the speed range of 3 m/s to 15 m/s, while also covering sea clutter data collection.
The radar system is deployed at the Advanced Technology and Industrial Innovation Platform of Zhejiang University, Yazhou Bay, Sanya City, Hainan Province, with a mounting height of approximately 30 m. The system operates in the S-band, with a range resolution of 0.6 m, velocity resolution ≤ 0.18 m/s, transmits LFM pulse signals, and has a pulse repetition frequency (PRF) of 15 kHz. The staring scenarios during the experiment include sea-air low-observable targets (unmanned aerial vehicle), sea-surface low-observable targets (motorboat), other unknown non-cooperative targets, and sea clutter. The total data volume is approximately 1.2 TB, providing rich data support for multi-dimensional and multi-angle target recognition and characteristic analysis.
The ownership of the Holographic Staring Radar Maritime Low-Observable Target Dataset belongs to Zhejiang University Hainan Institute, and the Editorial Department of *Journal of Radars* holds the editing and publishing rights, etc. Readers can use this data for teaching, research and other purposes free of charge, but must cite or acknowledge it in papers, reports and other academic achievements.
