资源简介:
This study deals with the comprehensive analysis of clinical isolates of Gram-negative bacteria with colistin resistance identified by MALDI-TOF MS. The main objective is to accurately characterize the distribution and variants of mcr genes responsible for colistin resistance, as well as to detect additional resistance genes, including beta-lactamases. The study aims to determine the prevalence and types of mcr genes in our samples and to significantly contribute to a better understanding of the molecular mechanisms of resistance. The results will be of practical relevance to improve antimicrobial therapy and inform strategies to combat nosocomial infections, providing a wealth of new knowledge to the field.
