The full dataset obtained from the microbiome composition analysis with bias correction (ANCOM-BC). The analysis was conducted to compare differences between niches (vagina and uterus within the same species). In mares, a total of 30 ASVs were identified as differentially abundant at the family level when comparing the vaginal and uterine microbiomes, while 60 ASVs showed significant differences at the genus level. In jennies, differential analysis between the vaginal and uterine microbiomes identified 53 taxa with significant abundance differences.
