Study of Alnus incana at Saywell Woodlot

Data was collected for 10 pairs of Alnus incana at York University’s Saywell woodlot on September 21, 2015 at nearly 3:00pm. The temperature was 19 degrees Celsius, with a partly cloudy sky. The specific location within the Saywell woodlot in which this study was done was randomly chosen by taking 10 steps forward into the woodlot, going into the nearest naturally laid out trail and taking 7 steps in it. A line transact was laid out and used to identify the individuals to be studied, by choosing those who were within a 1m range of the line transact.
