Sequencing of the Neurospora crassa sexual transcriptome.. Neurospora crassa strain:OR74A lineage (rid+ and rid)

The goal of this study was to identify high and low transcription regions of the Neurospora crassa genome at a specific point during sexual development (6 days post-fertilization). This information is needed to study processes that protect genomes during meiosis, as well as to better understand sexual development.
