Whole-brain neuronal activity dataset – Oriented grating stimuli

Dataset overview This repository provides whole-brain neuronal activity recordings from larval zebrafish under static oriented grating stimuli, together with the corresponding behavioral signals. Per-fish data (fish_X_Y.zip) Each fish is labeled as fish_X_Y, where X denotes the experiment index (4: oriented gratings) and Y denotes the fish index within that experiment. Each fish_X_Y.zip archive contains: NeuronalActivity.h5: Time-series neuronal fluorescence signals (neurons × time), along with the spatial coordinates and brain region labels for each neuron. StimuliAndBehavior.h5: Synchronized visual stimuli and behavioral signals sampled at 6000 Hz. A camera trigger signal is included to align these signals with neuronal activity. Shared resources These files are shared across all fish: VisualStimuli: Stimulus images for this stimulus ensemble, with detailed parameters for stimulus generation. The index of each stimulus is consistent with the stimulus parameters in StimuliAndBehavior.h5. BrainRegion: This Excel file provides the full names and abbreviations for all brain regions.
