Untargeted metabolome analysis of foods in Japan. food metagenome

This project aims to construct a comparable dataset of untargeted metabolome analysis of foods available in Japan. The food items were selected among the foods listed in the Standard Tables of Food Composition in Japan -2015 (Seventh Revised Version) published by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, Japan. The analyzed data are available at the Food Metabolome Repository website (http://metabolites.in/foods). A part of this project was reported in the article below: Sakurai N and Shibata D.
