The dataset include whole rock major and trace elements for the fertile and barren granites (Table S1), LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb dating results of fertile granites (Table S2), zircon trace element composition (Table S3) and Hg isotopic composition (Table S4) for the fertile and barren granites.
