Identification of Genes Relevant to Pesticides and Biology from Global and Midgut Transcriptome Data of Monochamus alternatus Hope (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) Larvae

Our study makes use of next generation sequencing technology to sequence the whole fourth instar larva and midgut transcriptome of Monochamus alternatus Hope and successfully constructs a Monochamus alternatus Hope transcription database. This study provides valuable basic information that can serve as a gateway to the many and diverse facets of pest and Monochamus alternatus Hope Biology genes.
