The TomatoMask_SAM dataset is a collection of in-the-wild plant leaf images along with their segmentation masks, which were automatically generated using the Segment Anything 2 (SAM 2) model. The images in the dataset are multi-leaf in-the-wild images intended for training and evaluating robust, automatic leaf segmentation models. Each image has an associated binary, single-channel (grayscale) segmentation mask that highlights the most prominent leaf structures. The dataset also includes the original filename of the image, its width, height, and the number of distinct leaf regions detected in the mask.
