Expanded Northeast Forest Landcover Classifications

This dataset contains a raster of forest type classifications (e.g. Spruce/Fir, Northern Hardwoods, etc.), based on modeled percent basal area, from 1985 to 2015 derived from Landsat imagery for all of Vermont and portions of Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and New York. Forest/non-forest classifications are derived from the National Land Cover Database.本数据集包含一套基于模拟胸高断面积百分比构建的森林类型分类栅格数据，分类类型涵盖云杉/冷杉林、北部硬木林等；数据时间跨度为1985年至2015年，通过陆地卫星（Landsat）影像生成，覆盖佛蒙特州全域以及缅因州、马萨诸塞州、新罕布什尔州与纽约州的部分区域。其中森林/非森林分类结果源自国家土地覆盖数据库（National Land Cover Database）。
