This data was used to train a support vector machine that distinguishes between correct and incorrect cell detections. E. coli MG1655 was grown in five different media ranging from nutrient rich to nutrient poor. The different nutrient conditions yielded cells of different sizes and morphologies in order to train a model that deals well with cells of varying sizes.
