10 m soil property and topsoil carbon stock maps for Scotland: bulk density, pH, loss-on-ignition, and derived organic carbon

10 m resolution national maps of topsoil (0–15 cm) bulk density, pH, and loss-on-ignition for Scotland, predicted from pretrained TESSERA satellite embeddings using a random forest model trained on 250 field-sampled points under nested spatial cross-validation. Each property includes the point prediction, 90% conformal prediction interval (lower and upper bounds, and interval width), and an area-of-applicability flag indicating where the covariate space extends beyond the training data. Derived topsoil organic carbon stock (kg C m⁻²) is included as a separate layer, calculated using a mixing-model bulk-density pedotransfer correction and the van Bemmelen loss-on-ignition-to-carbon conversion factor.
