BuzzFeed-Webis Fake News Corpus 16 包含 9 家出版商在美国大选前一周的产出。在选定的出版商中有 6 家多产的超党派出版商（三个左翼和三个右翼）和三个主流出版商（见表 1）。所有出版商都获得了 Facebook 的蓝色复选标记，表明其在网络中的真实性和提升的地位。在 7 个工作日（9 月 19 日至 23 日和 9 月 26 日至 27 日）中，BuzzFeed 的专业记者对 9 家出版商的每篇文章和链接的新闻文章进行了事实核查。共检查1627篇文章，主流826篇，左派256篇，右派545篇。类别之间的不平衡是由于发表频率不同造成的。

BuzzFeed-Webis Fake News Corpus 16 contains content produced by 9 publishers during the week prior to the U.S. presidential election. Among the selected publishers, there are 6 highly prolific partisan publishers (three left-leaning and three right-leaning) and 3 mainstream publishers (see Table 1). All selected publishers hold Facebook blue verification badges, which demonstrate their verified authenticity and elevated standing in the online network. Over seven business days (September 19 to 23 and September 26 to 27), professional journalists from BuzzFeed conducted fact-checking on every article and linked news piece from the 9 publishers. A total of 1,627 articles were inspected, including 826 from mainstream publishers, 256 from left-leaning publishers, and 545 from right-leaning publishers. The imbalance across categories arises from variations in their respective publication frequencies.
