Cydia pomonella Adult Antennal and Larval Head Transcriptome. Cydia pomonella

The primary olfactory tissues of adult and larval stages of the important apple/pear pest species Cydia pomonella (codling moth) have been studied for the characterization of gene expression profiles of chemonsensory receptor genes, including the odorant receptors. These results will provide important insights into olfactory guided behaviors of the codling moth, which are critical elements of survival.
