Communication Incidents in Agent-based Cyber-Physical Energy Systems

The dataset contains exchanged messages of an agent system performing self-consumption optimization. Each agent operates a distributed energy resource. Four types of communication incidents are integrated into the system: asset failure (the failure of an agent), communication failure, communication delays, and compromised process data. Next to normal operation data, the dataset contains the exchanged messages of the system during the incidents. The dataset can be used to assess the impact of incidents, such as cyber attacks, on existing agent-based control approaches and to implement anomaly detection methods.
