<p>The dataset consists of data from August 17, 2020, received by the ADS-B equipment installed at the Purdue University Airport (KLAF). The FAA aircraft registration database is also provided to assist in merging with the ADS-B data using the hex identification code as a database key to identify the aircraft model, engine type, and other useful information. Because the ADS-B data does not provide any means of ground-truthing for phases of flight, one cannot determine the accuracy of the model when used with real data. Therefore, synthetic data is simulated with the initial phase label to provide a means of model validation. This synthetic data includes 1200 simulated flights. The time interval between points be regarded as seconds equivalently.</p>
