This is a series of survey level books of the Wimmera Mallee Channel SystemSurvey books are used by surveyors in the field to survey allotments (Field Books) and water levels / tables (Level Books). Each page contains drawings, plots and/or annotations showing angles and distances from guide points and (in some cases) the outline and details of subdivisions and constructions thereon.Information from survey books is used to draw up plans for use in water supply, drainage and sewerage.Familiarity with survey techniques is necessary to make full use of these records.
