Phytoplankton Counts and Carbon Data. Version 1.0

These data were collected from process stations and other stations where bulk chlorophyll (Chl) measurements were taken on the following Bering Sea Ecosystem Study-Bering Sea Integrated Ecosystem Research Program (BEST-BSIERP) cruises: HLY08-02, HLY08-03, HLY09-02, KN195-10, TN249 and TN250. BEST-BSIERP together are the Bering Sea project. Data presented are direct pico- and nano-phytoplankton counts by flow cytometry and direct counts of microphytoplankton by inverted microscopy. Data were collected during cruises from the United States Coast Guard Icebreaker Healy, UNOLS R/V Knorr, R/V Thompson. Note: This is version 2 of the data, updated December 2011.
