Evaluation of different seed collection systems for oysters in Brazil

Aim: Evaluation of different substrates for making artificial oyster seed collectors. 1) Four substrate types were tested: sanded bottles, flexible smooth PVC strips, flexible sanded PVC strips and factory-textured PVC strips. 2) Four substrate types were tested: sanded bottles, flexible smooth PVC strips, coupelles and commercial Zapco seed collector. Data includes number of oyster seeds collected per square centimeter. The data originates from the Brazilian Northeast coast.
