The goal of this study was to identify changes in the transcriptome that occur following Abca12 gene deletion relative to Control islets Islets were isolated from 5 week old mice from two groups, 1) KO (Abca12 tm1d) animals with a conditional Abca12 floxed allele deleted by the action of Rip1-Cre, or 2) control animals heterozygous for Abca12 floxed allele with Rip1-Cre.
本研究旨在明确相较于对照组胰岛(Control islets),Abca12基因(Abca12 gene)敲除后转录组(transcriptome)所发生的变化。实验所用胰岛分离自5周龄小鼠,实验分为两组:1)敲除组(KO,Abca12 tm1d):通过Rip1-Cre重组酶删除条件性Abca12 floxed等位基因的动物;2)对照组:携带Rip1-Cre且为Abca12 floxed等位基因杂合子的动物。
