RNAseq analysis of 5week old islets from murine Abca12 KO pancreas

The goal of this study was to identify changes in the transcriptome that occur following Abca12 gene deletion relative to Control islets Islets were isolated from 5 week old mice from two groups, 1) KO (Abca12 tm1d) animals with a conditional Abca12 floxed allele deleted by the action of Rip1-Cre, or 2) control animals heterozygous for Abca12 floxed allele with Rip1-Cre.本研究旨在明确相较于对照组胰岛（Control islets），Abca12基因（Abca12 gene）敲除后转录组（transcriptome）所发生的变化。实验所用胰岛分离自5周龄小鼠，实验分为两组：1）敲除组（KO，Abca12 tm1d）：通过Rip1-Cre重组酶删除条件性Abca12 floxed等位基因的动物；2）对照组：携带Rip1-Cre且为Abca12 floxed等位基因杂合子的动物。
