Dispersin-based modification of bacterial community composition in domestic washing machines

We tested whether Dispersin, formulated in a liquid laundry detergent, can change the composition of the bacterial community in sump samples from domestic washing machines over the course of 60 wash cycles, thereby potentially supporting washing machine hygiene.
