This dataset contains Table 3.5 of the PhD (Candidate of Sciences) thesis of L. M. Karpuk: "Effect of polishing modes on germination intensity of sugar beet seed, fraction 3.75–5.0 mm (mean of three trials, 2005–2006)". Experiment: Experiment 1 – effect of polishing on germination intensity, germination and physical-mechanical properties of factory sugar beet seed. Treatments: polishing machine load (very light, light, medium – shutter position) and current frequency (35–50 Hz); control – unpolished seed sampled before each mode. Vorskla seed plant (Trostianets) and Institute of Sugar Beet, 2005–2006. Table variables: Treatment; Germinated seed, %, after … hours. Statistical reliability was assessed by analysis of variance (after B. A. Dospekhov); LSD₀₅ values are given in the table or in the notes.
