Noccaea caerulescens is a Brassicaceae species of the Coluteocarpeae tribe, developed as a model species to study metal tolerance and hyperaccumulation in plants. We provide here an improved assembly of its genome (300 Mb) obtained by PacBio Sequel Hifi sequencing and scaffolding using Hi-C technology and containing 7 large scaffolds representing chromosomes.
