An Integrative Transcriptome – Proteome Approach Reveals a Robust Expression Pattern of Small Intestinal Epithelial Organoids from Germ-Free and Microbiota Associated Donors

The goal of this study is to analyze the influence of different donor microbiota on small intestinal epithelial organoid cultures Organoid cultures from mice with two different microbiota or from germ-free mice (3 mice per group) were generated. Organoids were cultured in parallel to passage 5-8 and then frozen for transcriptome analysis. M-ICc12 cells and MEFs were included as control/reference groups. m-ICc12 and Organoid samples were treated with 5 ng/ml TNF for 8 h.
