Klebsiella pneumoniae subsp. pneumoniae 43816 WGS

In this study, we performed whole-genome sequencing on a wild-type laboratory strain of Klebsiella pneumoniae subsp. pneumoniae 43816, in addition to five strains (P2, P8, P13, P18, and P20) cultured under K. pneumoniae phage H5 and 5 strains cultrued under phage-CAZ (0.25 MIC) combination conditions (CP6, CP7, CP10, CP12, and CP17), respectively. Our objective was to detect alterations in the genome and transcriptome of K. pneumoniae under phage-CAZ vs phage conditions, as well as to observe changes in phenotypic traits such as morphology, growth competition, and resistance. By conducting this analysis, we sought to deduce the evolutionary strategies adopted by the bacteria under diverse conditions.
