Open GPlates2. Pull down the GPlates File menu and select Open Project3. Click to select the GPROJ file4. Click Open Alternatively, drag and drop the GPROJ file onto the globe. ** IMPORTANT **OPTIMISED MANTLE REFERENCE FRAME - Anchored Plate ID of 0 (Note: this has been recomputed since publication)NO-NET-ROTATION MANTLE REFERENCE FRAME - Anchored Plate ID of 777777PALEOMAGNETIC REFERENCE FRAME - Anchored Plate ID of 701701 (only useful for times since Pangea formation at ~320 Ma, as North America's position pre 320 Ma differs than that in Merdith et al. 2021 from where the paleomagnetic reference frame is taken) For more information, read the GPlates manual or tutorials which can be downloaded from www.gplates.org.
