The test specimen represented half length of a special segment chord member in a special truss moment frame. Double channels, 2C12x20.7, were monotonicly loaded in order to understand their moment vs. rotation relationship.The double channels were loaded to 2.79 in. displacement which was equivalent to 0.05 rad rotation.The result shows that material overstrength of 2-C12x20.7 is 1.13 which is closely agree to theoretical value of 1.1 and the elastic rotation is 1.24%.
