Microdata from the Canary Islands Tourist Expenditure Survey. 2021 Third quarter

The basic objective of the Tourist Expenditure Survey is to know the volume and structure of the expenditure made by tourists who spend at least one night in any type of accommodation in the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands. Also the subject of study of the survey is the sociodemographic profile of the tourist and the general characteristics of the trip. This dataset collects the tourist’s identification microdata: main destination, main accommodation, country of residence, main reason for travel, duration of stay, form of travel organisation, concepts of expenditure, activities performed, satisfaction and socio-economic characteristics for Q3 2021.
