A BATCH SCHEDULING MODEL FOR FLEXIBLE FLOW SHOPS TO MINIMIZE TOTAL ACTUAL FLOW TIME DATASET

This dataset contains metadata from numerical experiments related to the research article “A Batch Scheduling Model for Flexible Flow Shops to Minimize Total Actual Flow Time”. The dataset is provided in Excel Macro-Enabled Workbook format (.xlsm) and includes input parameters such as the number of jobs, stages, machines per stage, processing times, setup times, and common due dates. It also records decision variables including the number of batches, batch sizes, reference stage, and batch arrival times, as well as performance indicators such as total actual flow time, effectiveness compared to benchmark solutions, and computational complexity. The dataset covers two simulation scenarios: one with a fixed reference stage and another exploring all possible combinations of reference stages and batch numbers.
