Development and validity evaluation of an electronic device use questionnaire in Australian and United Kingdom adults

Dataset contains demographic and daily hours of electronic device use data of healthy Australian and United Kingdom adults. Demographic data includes participant age, gender, physical activity levels, height, weight, and country of residence. Electronic device use data was collected via 24-hour electronic device use diaries and the Electronic Device Use Questionnaire (EDUQ). Participants completed up to eight 24-hour electronic device use diaries, three EDUQs via online survey platforms. To determine the validity of the EDUQ, daily hours of electronic device use from the EDUQ was compared against intake from the 24-hour electronic device use diaries using a Bland-Altman plot analysis.本数据集收录了澳大利亚与英国健康成年人的人口统计学信息及每日电子设备使用时长数据。其中人口统计学数据涵盖受试者年龄、性别、身体活动水平、身高、体重及居住国家。电子设备使用时长数据通过24小时电子设备使用日志与电子设备使用问卷（Electronic Device Use Questionnaire, EDUQ）采集。受试者最多完成8份24小时电子设备使用日志，并通过在线调研平台完成3份电子设备使用问卷。为验证电子设备使用问卷的有效性，研究采用布兰德-奥特曼绘图分析法，将电子设备使用问卷所得的每日电子设备使用时长与24小时电子设备使用日志记录的时长进行对比。
