资源简介:
With the growth of the digital economy, the number of food delivery riders and ride-hailing drivers has increased, raising concerns about their mental health due to the "atomized" labor model driven by platform algorithms. Existing studies focus mainly on explicit work stressors, often neglecting the impact of atomization's core features. Drawing on Conservation of Resources (COR) Theory and the Social Support Buffering Model, this study surveyed 234 gig workers using a moderated mediation model. The results show that atomization negatively affects mental health through interpersonal alienation. While subjective social support moderates the relationship between atomization and alienation, it does not influence the link between alienation and mental health. This study reveals the mechanisms through which atomization impacts workers’ mental health and offers insights for improving their well-being.
