Dataset for the publication entitled "A state-of-the-art guide to the sterilization of thermoplastic polymers and resin materials used in the additive manufacturing of medical devices"

Supplementary Dataset for the publication entitled "A state-of-the-art guide to the sterilization of thermoplastic polymers and resin materials used in the additive manufacturing of medical devices" , including the detailed results of mechanical tests, DSC-TGA measurements and the images of scanning electron microscopy. If this dataset is being used in any publication, please cite the original article as well. Main folder: Supplementary. Supplementary folder includes the settings used for 3D printing (1_Printing parameters), the protocol diagram for the statistical analysis in case of mechanical testing (2_Protocol diagram of mechanical statistics), the summary of sterilization methods (3_Summary of sterilization protocols), image of the white resin test specimen before and after dry heat sterilization (4_White resin - before and after dry heat), the detailed results of mechanical tests (5_Mechanical_Results.xls; all materials of different sheets within the file), figures related to the mechanical test of ABS and HIPS materials (6_ABS diagram; 7_HIPS diagram) DSC-TGA measurements (8_DSC-TGA_Results.docx) and the images of scanning electron microscopy (SEM_Pictures folder). Within the SEM_Pictures folder, images are deposited by the type of material, and each material has images about the broken surface ("Fracture") and intact surface ("Surface").
