The discharge point locates the outcome of the residual pollution stream, after treatment at a treatment plant, in the natural environment (pipe end, injection drilling, infiltration site). The MEDD circular of 20 December 2002 also details the data to be provided concerning the point of rejection. However, these other references do not appear to locate the point of rejection. The application of station sludge is not described in this layer.
