Genome Diversity of Elaeis oleifera

Genome sequencing of Elaeis oleifera to produce a new high-quality genome reference assembly of the American oil palm and for performing diversity analyses of palm oil metabolic pathways, plant-pathogen interaction cascades, hormone biosynthesis and abiotic stress response pathways.This research was funded by the Colombian Oil Palm Promotion Fund (FFP) administered by Fedepalma.This project is authorized by the Access to Genetic Resources Contract 122-2016 between Cenipalma and the Environment Ministry of Colombia. The genetic information of Elaeis oleifera was derived from Colombian biological resources.Any person or institution interested in using this information with commercial purposes or in the frame of patenting processes must require the explicit authorization of the Environmental and Sustainable Development Ministry of Colombia.
