Box 5058 2600 GB Delft The Netherlands<br><b>Summary of Data Collection Campaign &amp; Setup</b><br>This dataset contains data collected during mangrove-mudflat campaign in Guyana, as part of Uwe Best's PhD Thesis project. It is being made public both to act as supplementary data for publications and the PhD thesis of Uwe Best and in order for other researchers to use this data in their own work. There were a total of six deployments, each with varying durations, and spanned the period from November 22nd, 2019 to January 11th, 2020. Eight frames were installed along the main transect, consisting of scaffolding pipes and connectors. <br>All locations are described below: <br>- MB 1: relative dense forest in the back of the mangrove 23 m away from the edge of the toe of the concrete dyke (sea wall).<br>- MB 2: approximately 100 m from the toe of the seawall within the mangrove.<br>- MB 3: approximately 200 m from the toe of the seawall within the mangrove fringe.<br>- MB 4: the seaward edge of the mangrove fringe.<br>- MB 5, 6, 7, 8: the mudflat in front of the mangrove, 1620 m seaward.<br><b>Software Needed</b>The processing of this data requires the use of MATLAB and Microsoft Excel.

Best) 【联系方式】:U.S.N.Best@tudelft.nl;荷兰代尔夫特理工大学土木工程与地球科学学院水利工程-海岸工程教研室,邮政信箱5058,代尔夫特2600 GB,荷兰。 【数据采集工作与部署概况】 本数据集收录了乌韦·贝斯特博士论文项目中,于圭亚那开展红树林-潮滩野外调研所获取的实测数据。本次数据公开一方面可为乌韦·贝斯特的学术成果及博士学位论文提供补充支撑,另一方面可供其他科研人员复用该数据开展相关研究。本次调研共完成6次部署,单次部署时长各不相同,调研周期覆盖2019年11月22日至2020年1月11日。沿主监测断面共架设8组监测框架,框架由脚手架钢管及连接件组装而成。 【监测点位详情】 - MB 1:红树林后方相对茂密的林带,距离混凝土海堤堤脚边缘23米。 - MB 2:红树林带内,距海堤堤脚约100米处。 - MB 3:红树林边缘带内,距海堤堤脚约200米处。 - MB 4:红树林边缘带向海一侧的边界位置。 - MB 5、MB 6、MB 7、MB 8:红树林前方向海延伸1620米的潮滩区域。 【所需处理软件】 本数据集的后期处理需使用MATLAB及Microsoft Excel软件。
